Note: I’m a big fan of the plan of action. Many popular spreads conclude with a position defined as future or outcome. I don’t believe that the tarot can be used to predict the future and find plan of action much more empowering.

When I’m reading for myself I usually don’t assign positions to the cards. I ask the tarot to show me a picture or tell me a story, I draw three cards and see what they have to say.
