Two of Wands
A man contemplates the horizon, a globe in his hand. The Two of Wands encourages us to consider creative ways to further an idea or bring a project to fruition. It also symbolizes the responsibility that comes with personal power.
Nine of Cups
A man takes pride in the nine cups lined up on a table behind him. This card represents wishes that have come true, feelings of contentment and gratification, and it also evokes abundance that borders on decadence.
Ace of Swords
Each of the Ace cards depicts the hand of a divine being holding the suit’s symbol, representing the suit’s essential energy. Aces also signify beginnings and potential, so the Ace of Swords symbolizes a new idea, the drive to develop the intellect through disciplined study, a thirst for knowledge and wisdom, and the ability to cut through falsehoods and distractions to get to the truth.
Four of Swords
At first glance, the man lying down appears to be dead. However, praying hands indicate he is in meditative repose. The Four of Swords reminds us to take time to heal after suffering an illness or emotional anguish. It symbolizes a period of recovery or reflection—retreating or slowing down to gain perspective and strength.
Two of Cups
A man and woman each hold out a chalice to the other. The Two of Cups symbolizes kindred spirits, an emotionally satisfying friendship, partnership, or a loving relationship.
Seven of Wands
A man is standing on high ground in defensive battle with several figures below him. The Seven of Wands symbolizes the need to defend one’s rank, or actions, being assertive, or fighting for what you want or believe.

VII of wands is the mid-week winner. It’s been a crazy busy week, including a 36 hour business trip to Mexico. I feel like I’m fighting to stay afloat and have a LOT to accomplish in a short period of time. I also realized some new goals recently and what I’ll need to do to actually accomplish them
