Submerina and Angela,

I love your thoughtful interpretations of these cards!

This deck seems kinda cutesy at first glance, but your reflections show its depth and shadow side.

Happy Halloween!

I love submerina's description of the Moon card! :) I need to get back to my more in-depth study of this deck.

I can't choose between the Six of Ghosts and the Six of Pumpkins. I've been feeling depressed, and partially stuck in the past (for more reasons than one). It's easy to pretty up our history, and make things seem to have been easier to deal with and happier than they were. I'm also missing being a kid, at the moment. :)

I love the Six of Pumpkins, because I love handing out candy to the children. Outside decorations went up yesterday (later than I wanted them to), surrounding a large window in what used to be a home office. We also decorate the window sill, and leave two bowls of candy at each side window, ready to hand it out to the children after they've walked up the long driveway.

The Moon! I picked it before I saw which card it was and I mention this because it's been a moon "heavy" week. She is everywhere :)

This is a very painful Moon card. It's a card of "un-belonging", as well as longing, but a longing that can never be fulfilled. The wolf is an outsider, a wild thing that can never fit in with the civilization on the hill. There is so much frustration in this image, it hurts. It hurts to be shut out, excluded for who you are. The poppies make me think it refers to the hidden persona and the pain that comes from not acknowledging our "wolf" selves.

Wow, I could go on for quit e a bit longer and this is pleasantly surprising. I never realised how much potential this deck held!
